How did playing sports change in kindergarten for Greg in the novel, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Big Shot?

In kindergarten, everything changed. The refs did not let the kids get away with things they did the year before. Greg would stand in the corner of the field a lot and hope the ball did not come to him. Only the kids who were good got to play, the rest of them sat on the bench.
