Jonathan spent his whole life inside the cabin without any contact with the outside world. Now he is thrust into the hustle and bustle of lots of people and noise and things he has never experienced before. He cannot take the elevator and he has to be helped to use the stairs. Sometimes he crawls under the table and stays there for hours or at night he will pull off his bedclothes so he can sleep on the floor. He is hopelessly out of his depth.
