What does Ben do to prove himself to Camelia?

Ben says he knows something is wrong with Camelia. He tries reading Camelia by taking her hands, saying he can see broken glass. To prove himself, Ben brings up a memory of the past, when Camelia was little, and ran away. He describes what she was wearing, what she was doing, and Camelia realizes Ben is being honest. Ben also tries out his skills on the fabric, the photos, and the notes, and believes that whoever is leaving them is a male.
