Why does Mrs. Lithebe warn the pregnant girl about spending time with Gertrude?

Mrs. Lithebe is concerned that Gertrude still spends time with the wrong (immoral) kind of people, and cares more about pleasure than responsibility. She does not want the pregnant girl to end up in more morally compromising positions, particularly because she does not want Kumalo to have to endure any more stress or pain.
