Arthur Jarvis had dedicated his life to advancing the cause of blacks in South Africa. He had been working on a paper called “The Truth About Native Crime” at the time that he was the victim of such a crime. He was a prominent leader for blacks’ right, who was killed by the very people he was vocally trying to help.
