Who is Colleen Deirdre Galaher from Cradle and All and what is their importance?

Fourteen-year-old Colleen is the second of two virgins to find herself pregnant. Colleen resides in Maam Cross, Ireland with her severely ill mother. She attends the Holy Trinity School for girls, but has been home schooled during her pregnancy. The community has dealt harshly with her predicament and is not supportive.
