What metaphors are used in Coriolanus by William Shakespeare?

Menenius's metaphor of the "body politic" has sparked a great deal of interest among commentators. Early in the play, as rioting plebeians demanding food occupy the streets of Rome, Menenius steps forward to tell his fable of the belly, which presents an aristocratic perspective on the way society should be ordered.
