Close to Shore: The Terrifying Shark Attacks of 1916

What about swimmers specifically at this time helped sharks to believe humans were actually sea creatures? Would this be a problem today? Why or why not?

Black and dark blue were the most popular colors for bathing suits, which were the exact colors of marine animals that the shark savored. Although blue and black swimsuits are still worn today, these are not the standard colors of swim suits. If there truly is a correlation between the color of the suit and the shark's assumption that it represents a marine animal, then people today would be less at risk, because many people wear swimsuits that are bright and colorful and nothing like the colors of marine animals.
