What happens when Archie loses the lottery?

The animals hold a lottery to see who will be sent away from Earth in order to protect the limited resources. When Archie is chosen to leave Earth, he is angry and says he won't leave. He says he is going to live like his ancestors did, not like the Dogs tell him to.
