How does Gramps react when he sees Ole drive up in his car in "Notes 1"?

When Gramps sees Ole's car, he grumbles under his breath and pretends like he needs help. Gramps isn't upset to see Ole, but it does remind him of the terrible condition of the roads as cars are out of fashion.
