At the end of "Tale 3", what does Grant ask of Nathaniel?

Grant asks Nathaniel to carry on what is known about the new philosophy. He says he fears that people will continue to mutate, leaving nothing of the human race. Therefore, Grant tells Nathaniel it might become necessary for the Dogs to act like humans. Grant asks Nathaniel to help carry on the human's dreams.
