Who is Ms. Isabel Hussey from Chasing Vermeer and what is their importance?

Ms. Hussey is Calder and Petra's teacher. She encourages her students to think on their own.... to think outside the box. She is also one of three people who receives a letter from the thief. After the police bring Ms. Hussey in for questioning, she admits to receiving one of the letters.
