What does Calder discover in Mrs. Sharpe's home?

On Saturday Calder makes a book delivery to Mrs. Sharpe's home, the same Mrs. Sharpe from the book. Hanging on her wall is a replica of the same painting on Calder's box. It is called "The Geographer" and is by Vermeer.
