Why does Catherine consider living in a nunnery? Why does she decide against it in the end?

Catherine considers living in a nunnery because she would not be allowed to live at the abbey. Upon further thought, though, Catherine realizes that living at the nunnery would mean even more embroidery, which is a task she greatly dislikes.
