Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee from the conversation between senator dawes,president grant,general sherman,does senator henry dawes seem to care about the indians? why or why not?

I think Henry does, more than the other people in the room. While he doesn't defend the brutality of the Indians, he does assert their right to land and compensation from the US government.
