When Bruce tells Kent that he has been "called" as a missionary, Kent says that that is impossible. He reminds Bruce about the Boy Scout days when Bruce's father would drop him off at a scout meeting. Bruce would go through the church where the troop met, go out the back, and go to King's Pharmacy where he would buy a book and read it until it was time to go home. Bruce has never been interested in the outdoors.
