A Christmas Carol (Book)
Ali Baba comes from The Arabian Nights. Next to Shakespeare and the New Testament, The Arabian Nights is perhaps the most read book. This book would have been a link with Scrooge's past, he would have read it as a child. Scrooge is experiencing his childhood in the spirit world, a time when he was once enchanted with stories and imagination.
