What is a "Smug Married"?

Smug Marrieds are couples who like to flaunt their married status in front of their unmarried friends. Bridget and her single friends feel that Smug Marrieds are judgmental and opinionated. They give the impression that Bridget cannot be truly happy unless she is part of a couple.
