Who tries to stop Fiona from coming on her visit?

Fiona's mother tries to stop her from going on the trip because she thinks that Jesse will hurt her daughter again. She begs Fiona not go to and leave the Morans alone. She thinks that getting involved with them will only lead to Fiona's heartbreak again.
