Who is Romanian Coven from Breaking Dawn and what is their importance?

The Romanian Coven, a group of witches, of which, Stefan and Vladimir are members, travel to Forks because they hear the Cullens will stand against the Volturi. Formerly the vampire law, they hope for a fight because they have long desired the fall of the Volturi.
