Yoshiko Kitsuta is Jenna's best friend and roommate at Somerset University which is located just outside Boston, Massachusetts. Yoshiko's boyfriend is named Hunter LaChance and all three youngsters are friends. Yoshiko and Jenna have plans to go to Captiva Island for the week of spring break. Yoshiko was born and raised in Hawaii. Her parents would prefer that they come to Hawaii for the week but the girls have decided on Florida - it's a lot closer.
