Who is Gotha and Gordo Branlin from Boy's Life and what is their importance?

Gotha and Gordo Branlin were Zephyr's local bullies. They like to pick on boys younger and smaller than themselves. Over time, Gotha learns his lesson and goes onto to lead the life of a good citizen. Gordo, however, never learns his lesson and eventually dies in a holdup when he is shot by the owner of the convenience store he is trying to rob.
