What did Trevor have in common with the other children in Soweto?

Like many of the other children in Soweto, Trevor was separated from his father, though it was for different reasons. The other children were separated from their father because men were frequently put to work, exiled and imprisoned. Trevor didn't often see his own father because his father was white.
