Goode Books is an old shop in Sunshine Falls owned by Charlie’s mother, Sally Goode, alongside his father, Clint Lastra. Nora describes it as the typical small-town business that is slowly falling apart as people forget about it. Eventually, Libby makes it her and Nora’s goal to revamp Goode Books as part of their vacation bucket list and they fill it with second-hand furniture and change the entire organization structure. In the end, Sally allows Libby to take over Goode Books so that Charlie can return to New York without worrying about the store’s future. The narrator assures the reader that the bookstore is experiencing unprecedented success after this change.
