What is the importance of Sunshine Falls in the novel, Book Lovers?

At the beginning of the novel, Sunshine Falls is the name of the setting that Dusty writes about in her book, Once in a Lifetime. However, it is quickly revealed to be a really small town in North Carolina that Libby asks Nora to go to for their summer sister vacation.
