What are the customs for the Marez family upon arriving in El Puerto?

They always stop and saw their grandfather, Prudencio, first out of respect and ritual; then they would move to stay with one of the uncles. This time they would be staying with Uncle Juan, because it was his turn to put them up, during the harvest.
