Explain Vholes' philosophy about the English legal system? Is it moral?

Vholes believes that the system must feed itself, and be self-perpetuating. His belief represents the underlying force behind the Jarndyce suit, that even if problems need to be invented in order to keep the system moving and clients paying, then so be it. It is not a particularly moral philosophy for a system of justice, but exists even in this country today. Attorneys must make a living and the system accomodates them.
