What happens the morning after Beowulf's truimph? What gifts are bestowed on him?

The morning after, we learn that Beowulf has followed Grendel but was unable to return with his body. He does, however, have Grendel's severed arm. Hrothgar and his Queen than gift Beowulf with horses, armor, jewelry, helmets, and other gifts.
