How long did Christine live in a psychiatric hospital after her accident? What memories strike her upon revisiting the place?

Dr. Nash tells Christine she had been in the psychiatric hospital for seven years. Dr. Nash suggests that Christine go with him to the hospital to see if being in the ward might trigger a memory. At the hospital, Christine has a few vague memories of seeing her son and of a man and woman she did not know who came to see her.
