Barn Burning Why does Sarty turn his father in in Faulkner's Barn Burning? Asked by bookragstutor on 20 Aug 10:22 Last updated by Jill W on 24 Jun 18:04
Sarty doesn't turn his father in, nor, does he ever testify against him. Sarty does, however, want to end the cycle of barn burnings and escapes to warn Major de Spain in an effort to do so.
