Harold Oblowski from Bag of Bones is Mike's literary agent. Harold has the distinction of being very, very well liked, and equally hated by those in the New York literary circle. He pressures Mike to continue writing, even when Mike's wife dies. He believes that an author of Mike's caliber can't afford to quit writing or take a year off because the fans wouldn't forgive him.
