Who is The Sinful Woman from Bad Girls of the Bible and what is their importance?

The sinful woman appears in the Bible but remains unnamed. She shows up at party hosted by Simon with an alabaster jar of perfume. The perfume is an expensive goft, but she wants to honor Jesus with it. The sinful woman washes his feet with her tears and dries them with her hair. The guests are scandalized. Jesus, however, forgives her sins.
