How does Mitzi prepare herself before Joe's arrival?

Mitzi puts on perfume after she gets out of the tub. She also puts on a scarlet nightgown that leaves little to the imagination. When she hears his knock, she almost skips down the stairs. She tries to look innocent, although Joe still looks shocked when she opens the door.
