How does Lottie convince the officers to take her back home?

Just after they get underway, Lottie remembers that she didn't take the videotape of the cabin's contents. If anything happens, she'll need that to get the insurance money. She convinces the two men to take her back, saying that she'll find the tape and follow them in her truck. The drivers finally agree and take off with Lottie's family.
