One example of wasted opportunities can be found in Thami's decision to abandon his education in favor of revolution. Thami was extremely intelligent, and the had the gift of oratory..... the gift on not only being able to verbalize his concerns and desire for chenge, but to defend his views as well. In giving up an opportunity to further educate himself, he also cast aside a tool for change.
