What makes Crismus furious with Asterix and Getaflix?

When Crismus Bonus trips on his beard, he realizes that he is at the mercy of the Gauls and must strike a bargain with them. He goes to offer them conditions, but is infuriated when he learns of their new game of counting the Romans with beards. Asterix puts on the excessive amount of hair growing on the Romans, amusing Getafix, but angering Crismus Bonus even further.
