How does Crismus Bonus respond when he hears about Asterix's arrival?

Crismus sounds the alarm, and guards surround Getafix's tent. Crismus Bonus demands that Asterix surrender. Asterix exits the tent, throws his arms at Crismus Bonus' feet, and says he surrenders. However, the Romans do not approach the small man until Crismus Bonus threatens them. They bind Asterix in chains.
