Why does Pappas tell Elisha that he may move with him to Antioch?

Elisha and Pappas are friends. Pappas knows Elisha is unhappy with Deborah and that he wants to find ways to escape the sorrow their marriage brings him. Also, Antioch is a great center for learning, and perhaps Pappas is encouraging Elisha to seek out new philosophies and ideas in Antioch.
