Why do you think Deborah is not comfortable around Meir and his wife Beruriah?

Deborah is materialistic and self-centered. She is uncomfortable around anyone she considers to be of a lesser class. She is wealthy, while Meir and Beruriah are poor, so she does not want to be around them.
