Oliver encounters Rosalind and Celia and tells them that he was sleeping in the woods when a snake came by him. Orlando happened upon the sleeping Oliver and chased the snake away. A lioness then approached Oliver and Orlando fought it off, getting injured in the process. Oliver's hatred for Orlando melted at this feat of love.
