What kind of a character is Mulch Diggums?

Mulch is a dwarf who decided early that mining was not for him. Mining was generally what dwarfs did as they are able to unhinge their jaws allowing them to eat great amounts of earth at a time. Mulch decided to use his talent to dig into Mud People's property. Since these dwellings are considered sacred, Mulch lost his magical powers for violating the law. He doesn't care about not having his powers. He did well for a while, but then his luck turned. After that he spent the next three hundred years in and out of prison.
