Who is Captain Holly Short from The Time Paradox and what is their importance?

Holly Short is an officer with the LEP. She takes her job seriously, and she is known for ignoring direct orders in order to save people. When Holly learns about Artemis' mother's illness, Holly is quick to agree to help Artemis. Though sometime antagonistic toward each other, Holly and Artemis become close friends.
