What is the main conflict in An Astrologer's Day by R. K. Narayan?

Guru Nayak is the client of the astrologer who turns out to be a former victim who is on a quest for revenge. Guru Nayak is actually rather a bully by nature: his objective is to intimidate the astrologer in order to appropriate his money. The astrologer notices that Guru Nayak is a victim of his from his youth. Guru Nayak, however, does not recognize the astrologer.
