Who is the antagonist in Among the Volcanoes by Omar S. Castaneda?

Teresa is the antagonist in the novel, Among the Volcanoes. Once Isabel's best friend, jealousy and determation to take away Isabel's fiance become the focus of Teresa's life. She goes to great lengths in order to break Isabel and Lucas up.
