Explain the identity of Bud Baker and his relationship to Sarat.

Bud Baker is the one Salt Lake Boy who had been taken into the North. He became a guard and Sugarloaf and brutalized and tortured Sarat. When Bud Baker and his family are found, Sarat kills Bud but spares his wife and two boys who are twins.
