Sarat and Dana are fraternal twins. They look nothing alike. Sarat has frizzy hair. Dana has long, beautiful black hair and likes playing dress-up. Sarat likes the natural world, playing with insects and examining living creatures. Dana thinks dirt and bugs are gross. Dana was the older twin by five minutes. Martina said that even though God gave her "two children at once, there is only girl enough for one" (15).
