The author has separated the novel into four sections, titled Parts 1-4. The way Berry sections off the book is helpful to readers. Within the parts are shorter chapters and within the chapters are mini breaks used for switching the point of view. This organization is helpful for the reader to organize the information that is quickly given. The book is mostly made up of dialogue and descriptions of history. The dialogue moves quickly so that the plot can continue to flow. This is essential for a mystery book. Keeping the readers attention is important so that they don't loose interest in the characters and action.
