Miguel Robles from Always Running: La Vida Loca, Gang Days in L.A was a friend of Luis. He is one of three kids that start a small early gang with Luis. Luis admits that Miguel was a good person, nice looking, and smart. Miguel dies later on in the novel, leaving Luis devastated.
