Sneha's name, which translates to "love," is an important symbol of the ways in which her childhood trauma causes her to neglect her emotions in the present day. As Sneha explains, her abusive uncle, Monchayan, often used to use Sneha's name as a kind of foreplay before taking advantage of her as a child. This has obvious resonances with Sneha's own reluctance to experience love in her relationships.
