Who is Stewie Brannon and what does James do for him?

Stewie is Siegfried's college buddy. He is a vet in a mill town, Hensfield, in Yorkshire. He takes care of the pets of the poor. James goes to Hensfield to cover for Stewie while he takes a vacation with his family.
